My testimony

SHALOM TO YOU 

My name is Beni Prasad Rai. I currently live in Chhattisgarh INDIA. I was born into a Brahmin family in West Bengal. I came to Here for work and started living with my sister and brother-in-law. I work as a motorcycle mechanic.

There was a time in my life when I was very disappointed. At that time, I met Brother Prince, who told me the gospel for the first time. I believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, and God filled my life with peace. I continued to fellowship with God’s word with Brother Prince. After a while, Brother Prince and his entire family moved to their hometown, Kerala.

I was hungry for fellowship with God’s word. For almost 5 years, I prayed about this matter, asking God to give me fellowship and participation in His word. And one day, God sent Brother William, who is my spiritual brother, into my life.

I was also introduced to God’s servants Pastor Peter Tirkey, Bal Kumar Toppo, and Gopi Kumar Yadav, and I continued to fellowship with them in God’s word. When I read the verses of Matthew 7:17-22, my heart turned to God.

In this way, as I continued to grow in my spiritual life, I was introduced to Pastor Shashi Kant Bagh, and I was blessed by his fellowship in God’s word. I also met Brother Purushottam, a brother in Christ. On October 29, 2013, I was baptized by Pastor Shashi Kant Bagh, and I was saved.

One time, I met Pastor Jonathan Sen Gupta at the Nazareth Church. He was invited to preach the word of God. He accepted me as a brother in Christ, and he continued to come to my house to fellowship in God’s word. He helped me grow in my spirituality. On July 11, 2017, Pastor Jonathan Sen Gupta founded the Bethel Prayer Hall Foundation. I received Bible education and fellowship from Pastor Jonathan Sen Gupta.

Then, in 2017, through Brother William, God gave me the opportunity to study the Bible in its Original Hebrew language from the Timothy Program International, And By the Grace of God I had the opportunity to meet Pastor Christy Paul.

I received Bible education in Hebrew from Timothy Program International, and I was Ordained for Pastoral Ministry in 2019. In addition, God blessed my life through deep teachings of the scripture by Pastor Christy Paul, helping me understand the meaning of the Word in the context of Hebrew.

I met many pastors and faithful brothers and sisters, and the Lord introduced me to them.

On October 26, 2021, I began the construction of a new church building on the upper floor of my home, and on May 18, 2023, it received registration under the name Bethel Welfare Foundation Society. Currently, God has called me to serve as a pastor in Bethel Welfare Foundation Society.

I have a vision from God that To support weary people with the Word of God, And may God’s will be done in their lives, At the same time, I and my entire family are in the service of God and will continue to do so in future too.
