My testimony

SHALOM TO YOU

I am Purushottam Kumar Kaiwart, I currently live in Korba, Chhattisgarh,India, and I come from a non-Christian background. In 2008, I heard and learned about the good news of Lord Jesus Christ through my friends.

After hearing for a few days, a few months, I made an effort to learn more. Then, by the grace of the Lord, the verses from the Bible – Acts 16:31 and John 3:16, captured my heart, and I accepted the Lord as my Savior.

Acts 16:31

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

And

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

After reading 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. “I started attending churches and prayer meetings, joining in prayer and fellowship with the servants of God.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. 

In the same way, advancing in my spiritual journey, on October 29, 2013, I completed my religious commitment by receiving baptism from Rev. Shashi Kant Bag, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 

In 2017, Bethel Welfare Foundation Society was established. Since then, till today, I have been engaged in the work of the Lord. Alongside, my wife and daughter also have faith in the Lord, and the three of us together continue to fulfill the work of the Lord and will continue to do so in the future.
